John D. Richmond, M.D. Dr. Richmond is the senior physician and CEO of Nephrology and Hypertension Specialists, P.C. in Dalton, Georgia. He also serves as Medical Director of Dalton Dialysis Clinic, FMC of Dalton, Inc. Dr. Richmond is a native of Beckley, West Virginia, and is a graduate of West Virginia University. He completed medical school at West Virginia University School of Medicine. He completed active duty as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Navy Medical Corps, and is currently a retired commander. He completed a Clinical Fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Virginia Hospital in Charlottesville, Virginia. Dr. Richmond has served as president of the Georgia Society of Nephrology and held several positions of responsibility in ESRD Network 6 and 20 (predecessor of network 6) including vice-president for Georgia. Dr. Richmond and his wife Bethany have two teenage sons, Andy and John. |
